SISTERS LAKE TRAIL

Located in the Val-Senneville sector, 10 minutes from Val-d’Or, Lac des Sœurs is accessible from the intersection of Chemin Val-du-Repos and Rue du Souvenir.

A major enhancement project was carried out in the early 2000s which consisted of stocking rainbow trout in Lac des Sœurs. As part of the Fishing Festival, the Association Chasse et Pêche de Val-d’Or organizes an activity every year with young people in order to introduce them to sport fishing and respect for wildlife. This lake is accessible to everyone, but it is forbidden to use gasoline-powered boats.

A 14-kilometer mountain bike trail is accessible from the Lac des Sœurs site.
